About LanzGaming.Net
LanzGaming.Net is a Lan Party Event organization and coordination group based in Metro Detroit, MI (USA). Led by Matthew, the group has a core of 8~10 people that are actively involved in organizing and executing lan party events. Beyond this core group are others that active attend the events for gameplay and competition.

While currently hold Bi-Monthly, the lan parties may soon move to a per month occurrence, at least for summer. They are usually held in the Livonia/Farmington area and are generally announced several weeks (sometimes months) in advance. The Main Page has the upcoming event info at the top of the right-hand sidebar. RSVP Link

Our 24-port Gigabit switch, and various smaller port number switches, allow us ample room new and old gamers alike. We recently began bringing a projector for spectating the games (CS:S, TF2, ET:QW, and UT3). Tables and chairs are provided and generally setup in a standard array for optimal gaming experience.

We ask event attendees to bring the following: Desktop (or laptop) with desired peripherals, power strip or UPS if available. (Uninterruptible Power Supplies's Automatic Voltage Regulation helps to protect your equipment in the event problems occur), and an ethernet cable (preferably 15~25ft if possible, either Cat5e or Cat6 for Gigabit speeds).

Food and drink are provided in the cover charge (generally $5 but is subject to change). Food/Beverage types and cover charge will always be announced before the lan.
